This day is devoted to connecting with the beautiful side of both the cognitive mind and the heart – two aspects of citta, the heart-mind. We will learn and practice the Recollection of the Buddha, which is infrequently taught in the Insight world. We’ll also practice mettā, lovingkindness or goodwill, and muditā, appreciative joy. These beautiful practices strengthen and align the citta to support walking the path to freedom.
