Anna Douglas PhD. is one of the founding teachers of Spirit Rock Meditation Center and a member of the Teachers Council. She has taught classes and intensive retreats in the Insight Meditation tradition nationwide for 30 years. She has a background in psychology and the arts, and is an avid painter. Anna offers ongoing mentoring of students, with the focus on removing psychological obstacles to spiritual realization. Her current teaching is focused on the practice of Dharma in aging and dying. She is the guiding teacher for Insight Meditation Tucson where she spends the winter months.
